The government, through the Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance, Carla Louveira, assured on Monday that the process of paying November's salaries based on the implementation of the Single Salary Table (TSU) is at its final stage.

"The process of wage payments under the TSU is proceeding normally and the concerns that were raised have been resolved to some extent with the last two decrees that were approved by the government," Carla Louveira assured.

According to the government official, who was speaking after the International Conference on Sovereign Disaster Insurance, held in Maputo, "at the moment, we are completing the payment of November's salaries, including the back pay that is scheduled to be paid in November, and the other part will be paid in December, as scheduled".

It's worth remembering that the government has guaranteed that it will start paying the back-payments relating to the implementation of the Single Wage Scale (TSU) in the civil service this November.
