The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Electricidade de Moçambique (EDM) considers that the company is on a good path, despite the losses resulting from sabotage of infrastructure over its 45 years of existence.
The vandalizing and theft of power has caused, on an annual average, losses estimated at more than 120 million meticais in the last four years.
The information was provided by the Chairman of EDM, Marcelino Alberto, who was speaking, this Friday, in Maputo, on the occasion of the opening of the Photo Exhibition allusive to the company's 45th anniversary.
The commemoration of the forty-fifth anniversary of Electricidade de Moçambique is celebrated under the slogan: "EDM, for forty-five years lighting up Mozambique".
