The National Institute of Social Security (INSS) says there is an imbalance in the payment of social security benefits to taxpayers, a fact that challenges the institution to standardize the actions between provincial and district delegations to ensure reliability and speed of procedures throughout the country.
The analysis was made by the INSS General-Director, Joaquim Siúta, on the sidelines of the National Social Security Seminar, a three-day event that started yesterday (Wednesday) in Maputo, and that aims to improve the service capacity to users.
"Ensuring standardization of our actions implies that all information provided to the central level of the INSS should be the same as that provided to the provincial and district delegations. One of the most profound reforms made, last year, was to allow the processing and payment of benefits in the districts, up to certain limits," he said, according to AIM.
In what concerns the complaints presented by the users regarding the delays in the social security payments, Siúta guarantees that the INSS is aligning all the procedures to speed up the process.
