CTA distinguishes Filipe Nyusi as promoter of public-private dialogue

The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, has just been distinguished with the Formiga Award, by the Confederation of Business Associations of Mozambique (CTA), for his leadership and promotion of public-private dialogue in the country.

According to the newspaper Notícias, the distinction took place this morning at the opening of the Annual Conference of the Private Sector (CASP), which is being held in Maputo. The event involves over a thousand participants, in a high-level panel that will comprise six plenary panels, three parallel panels, bilateral meetings and several round tables.

Justifying the award, the president of CTA, Agostinho Vuma, also highlighted Nyusi's role "as an inescapable figure in all facets of national business development.

The statesman was also praised for being the promoter of policies and instruments that have inspired greater momentum in the process of economic reforms that have made the national private sector a major asset.
