Debate around the new minimum wage adjustment already underway

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, Emídio Mavila, explained that in the next thirty days, the different players in the productive sectors will try to find consensus around the new minimum wage.

For his part, the representative of the OTM-Central Union, André Mandlate, calls for a better evaluation in the negotiations, so that the readjustment of the minimum wage brings advances in the lives of citizens.

The Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique (CTA), through the president of the Labor Department, Paulino Cossa, believes that the rise in fuel prices and the inflation of the currency could compromise the negotiations of the readjustment of the minimum wage.
