The European Union (EU) will provide 60 million euros to support basic education and gender equity programs.
This was announced in Chiúre, in Cabo Delgado province, by the EU Ambassador, Antonio Sánchez, during the re-inauguration ceremony of the Nahavara Primary School, rehabilitated and equipped by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), with EU funds, as part of the recovery of infrastructure resilient to natural events.
At this moment, according to Sánchez, contacts are being made with the Ministry of Education and Human Development (MINEDH) to define the actions to be financed with the funds announced.
