Rwandan businessmen want to diversify investment in Mozambique

Rwandan businessmen intend to diversify investment in Mozambique in the sectors of agriculture (tea and coffee,) and dairy products, mining, logistics, tourism, and import of various products in the not-too-distant future.

This intention was expressed in Kigali during the 24th edition of the Rwanda International Fair, in which Mozambique participated, was elected best exhibiting country.

The Mozambican delegation - which included people from other ministries and FIPAG - led by Gil Bires, Director-General of the Investment and Export Promotion Agency (APIEX), promoted the potential and opportunities for national investment and export.

This was Mozambique's first participation in the Rwanda International Fair, an event organized by the Private Sector Federation (PSF) in partnership with the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MINICOM), the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) and other key institutions.

More than 400 exhibitors from 15 countries participated in the fair, which provided an opportunity for interaction through "B2B" [business-to-business] and "B2C" [ business-to-consumer] meetings with the aim of establishing partnerships and exploring new investment and business opportunities in the face of the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
