Council of Ministers approves regulation for pre-professional internships

The government, through the Council of Ministers, approved this Tuesday the regulation of pre-professional internships. It is a device that aims to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency in the implementation of programs and integration into public administration.

The idea, according to the spokesman for the Council of Ministers, Filimão Suazi, is to bring in this new regulation the mandatory consideration of the internship period as work experience time for the acceptance of those who have gone through the process when seeking to apply for jobs, since "one of the big problems facing young graduates is the issue of work experience.

"The bill also brings, as a novelty, the integration in the internships of foreign citizens who study in the country and the incentive that should be given to companies that admit interns, depending on the number and remuneration given to them," the spokesperson advances.
