The Minister of Economy and Finance, Adriano Maleiane, said this Thursday in parliament that there are opportunistic and dishonest traders that increase the price of basic products, alleging increases in fuel prices.
Maleiane assured that the executive is attentive to these traders and will take measures to discipline the internal commerce, assuring that there is a need to reinforce the application of the decree that sets the profit margins in the sale of basic products.
"Not everything can be justified by the fuel increase and even where it is possible to justify by the fuel increase, it cannot be 100%. If there is a fuel increase of 20%, at most what can happen, is that we have an increase in the total price of about 8 to 9 %, it cannot be 46 %," he said.
