Government approves proposed law on salary in the Civil Service

The Mozambican government approved this Tuesday, in the 30th session of the Council of Ministers, a set of proposed laws, which will be submitted to Parliament.

In this session, the executive approved an instrument on the proposed Law that defines the rules and criteria for fixing the remuneration of state employees and agents and other public servants.

The information was provided by the spokesperson of the Council of Ministers, at the usual Tuesday press conference with different media.

Filmão Suazi clarifies that, on the issue of remunerations, there is no direct relationship between the salaries at the level of the Assembly of the Republic and the document considered this Tuesday by the Council of Ministers.

Tuesday's session also served to consider and approve the Resolution approving the Cybersecurity Policy and Strategy for its implementation.

Another Resolution that was considered by the Council of Ministers, in Tuesday's session, is the instrument that approves the Rural Sanitation Strategy, as described below by spokesman Filmão Suazi.

Also in this session, the government considered and approved the Decree that regulates Recreational and Sport Fishing and also made the balance and perspectives of the application of the Covid-19 prevention measures.
