The president of the Democratic Revolution Party (RD), Vitano Singano, was released today after six months in the Civil Prison.

Singano was accused of leading an alleged plot against state security, which included a raid on Ponta Vermelha, the official residence of the President of the Republic.

The prosecution's accusations also indicated that Singano had recruited members of the Defense and Security Forces.
