Full-time vacancy for a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer in Tete, Mozambique.
Description
- Ensuring compliance with maintenance programs and their control indexes, through proper management of human and material resources and planning of activities;
- Ensuring the implementation of the investments planned in the budget for the current year, carrying out constant analysis and feedback;
- Implementing systems for deploying objectives and targets, based on the goals and objectives of Executive Management and the company;
- Continuously analyzing costs in all the Maintenance Area Managements of the Executive Operations Management, looking for opportunities to eliminate waste, promoting effective cost reduction with clarity and transparency, supported by actions at all hierarchical levels;
- Provide support and resources to the executive maintenance areas, with a view to reducing material costs and standardizing maintenance performance;
- Interface with key suppliers;
- Ensuring compliance with systematic preventive maintenance, through appropriate planning, scheduling and control of human and material resources, ensuring the availability of equipment.
Requirements
- Full university degree in Mechanical Engineering or related areas;
- 6-8 years' experience in managing large-scale industrial projects;
- Experience in the mining, industrial, steel or oil & gas sector;
- Knowledge of physical planning for project, program and portfolio management;
- Knowledge of calculation and design software;
- Experience in planning, developing and implementing projects.
