USAID delivers support kits to families affected by terrorism in Cabo Delgado

USAID entrega kits de apoio às famílias afectadas pelo terrorismo em Cabo Delgado

The U.S. Agency for International Development, USAID, on Friday delivered 20,000 shelter and kitchen kits to families displaced by the terrorist attacks in Cabo Delgado.

 The aid is estimated at 115 million meticais and is aimed at alleviating the humanitarian crisis that is affecting around eight hundred thousand people.

The offer was delivered by USAID's regional advisor for Humanitarian assistance, John Grabowski, who on the occasion underlined the scope of the aid.

In Cabo Delgado the USAID Office of Humanitarian Assistance Regional Advisor noted that in some areas of Cabo Delgado victims of terrorism are gradually getting back on their feet.
