According to reports, while traveling with Trump as his advisor, he always carried a box of pills with him. He admitted to using the drug in March 2024, explaining that his doctor gave him the prescription to treat depression.

At the time, he said that he only took a "small amount" every "two weeks". "If you use too much ketamine, you can't really work, and I have a lot of work," he explained.

But after the accusations of being an "addict", Musk shared a photo of a toxicology test on the X network, the result of which was negative for drug use.
