Yesterday, TPM-TUR launched the Maputo-Nelspruit (South Africa) international route. The announcement was made at a gala dinner as part of the company's 10th anniversary celebrations.

On the occasion, the Secretary of State for Transport, Chinguane Mabote, said that the milestone was a sign that the company was establishing itself as a major player on the regional road mobility scene.

"The opening of this new route confirms the company's commitment to regional integration, modernizing transport and strengthening links between Mozambique and its neighbouring countries," he said.

For him, "TPM-TUR is a benchmark in the transport and tourism sector, capable of maintaining its commitment to quality, safety and innovation, contributing to the efficient and competitive mobility that the country needs to grow."

With 95 vehicles, including light vehicles and buses, TPM-TUR is present in the cities of Beira, Tete and Nampula, as well as in the districts of Balama and Palma, in Cabo Delgado province. (Jornal Notícias)
