The American singer, songwriter and actress, Tina Turner, died this Wednesday at the age of 83 from an illness. The greatest icon of rock 'n roll music lost her life at her home in Küsnacht, near Zurich, Switzerland, the singer's office said.

In 1988, during the Break Every Rule world tour, she set a record for the largest ever paid audience for a concert ? 180,000 people at the Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro. Two years later, the European tour Foreign Affair became the most watched tour ever in Europe.
Turner's husky, distinctive voice, boundless energy, and dynamic stage presence have captivated audiences around the world, solidifying her status as the "Queen of Rock 'n' Roll."
Recognized for her electrifying voice, she is considered by many to be the most vibrant singer in the history of music. The American singer, songwriter and actress has become an icon, having sold more than 180 million records. Between 1974 and 1999 she released 10 solo albums.
Throughout his career, Turner has received eight Grammy Awards, entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Turner is preceded in death by her two sons, Craig, who died in 2018, and Ronnie, in 2022.
