Terrorismo obriga ao encerramento de todas unidades sanitárias de Quissanga em Cabo Delgado

All health facilities in the Quissanga district, Cabo Delgado province, in northern Mozambique, have been closed since last March due to the terrorist attacks.

A publication in the newspaper "O País", referring to the health authorities at provincial level, says that as well as health units, the armed group stole three vehicles, two of which were ambulances.

"The closure of health units and the absence of health professionals in the Quissanga district has been confirmed by the Cabo Delgado Provincial Health Directorate," reads the publication.

Last March, in addition to destroying and vandalizing health facilities, the insurgents stole medicines and hospital equipment.
