The accused in the murder case of the former mayor of Nampula, Mahamudo Amurane, were heard again by the Judicial Court of the province, resuming the trial of case number 12/2019, postponed in May of this year.

Amurane was shot dead on October 4, 2017, in the city of Nampula.

According to VOA, the accused are Saide Abdul Reimane, a councilman at the time; and Zeinal Abdul, a businessman in the construction industry.
