Rússia exibe poderio militar na celebração da vitória contra nazismo

Russia yesterday displayed combat drones that its forces use in the war against Ukraine in Moscow's Red Square during the military parade marking the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet Union and its allies over Nazi Germany.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping and more than 20 other foreign leaders watched the parade of several Russian drones through Red Square, along with other military equipment.

Reuters, quoted by "Noticías", reports that the ZALA Lancet, Geran-2, Orlan-10 and Orlan-30 drones were presented at the parade marking the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet Union and its allies over Nazi Germany.
Orlan drones are widely used for reconnaissance and targeting missions. The ZALA Lancet is a free-flying munition used for both attack and reconnaissance missions, which is said to have attacked and destroyed numerous pieces of Ukrainian military equipment, including tanks and a military jet.

The Geran-2 is a Russian-made suicide or kamikaze drone, the design of which originated in Iran, where an earlier version was manufactured, used to target Ukrainian energy infrastructure and Kiev has accused Moscow of also using them to target residential buildings.

Speaking at the ceremonies marking the defeat of Nazi Germany in 1945, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the whole country supports the offensive in Ukraine, referring directly to the conflict that has been ongoing since 2022.
