On another day of vote hunting, Renamo, the country's second largest party, went to Matola rio and Beluluane to ask for votes for Ossufo Momade and his party.
In his speech, alongside Ivone Soares, António Muchanga promised to industrialize Maputo province in order to create jobs for young people and combat kidnappings.
"As soon as Renamo governs, it will focus on industrialization to provide jobs for young people. We're going to fight the kidnappings that are scaring entrepreneurs away," he said.
According to Muchanga, "there is a party that is financing the kidnappings, we want to fight it," and he recalled that he has won elections in Maputo province several times.
For his part, Ivone Soares guaranteed that Renamo will win the elections and will govern Maputo province to bring about the development that the country and the population have been waiting for for 49 years.
"The solution for the development of this country is to vote for Renamo and we are here in Maputo province to ask for votes," explained Ivone Soares.
