In Gaza, inmates at the Xai-Xai Provincial Penitentiary are asking the government to promote vocational activities so that they can better reintegrate into society after serving their sentences.

The request was presented to the Attorney General as part of a working visit that ended this Friday in Gaza province.

In response, Américo Letela guaranteed that he would work with other entities to make the project a reality.

"As luck would have it, the Presiding Judge of the Provincial Court is here, the Chief Provincial Prosecutor is here with us. The other leaders of the administration of justice bodies here in the province are here. When we leave here, we're going to sit down with them, depending on the concerns you've presented to us, so that together we can discuss what's going on," said the Attorney General, interacting with the inmate community at the Xai-Xai Penitentiary.
