Voter registration: STAE accused of prioritizing Frelimo members in Chemba and Muanza

The brigades of the Technical Secretariat for Electoral Administration (STAE) are prioritizing civil servants, allegedly members of the Frelimo party, denounced an inspector from the Democratic Movement of Mozambique (MDM).

According to CIP Eleições, the MDM inspector also complained about the lack of queues during the registration process.

CIP contacted the station supervisor and he refused to explain the complaints.

At the Muanza-Sede registration office, more specifically at the Muanza-Sede Complete Primary School, voters accuse the brigades of giving priority to civil servants and acquaintances to register, to the detriment of those who have been queuing for a long time. (CIP Eleições)
