Real Madrid plans to sign Mbappé... by January 15th

Real Madrid tem plano para contratar Mbappé… até 15 de Janeiro

The Merengues believe that the Frenchman will not renew with PSG before 2024. January 15 is the last day for the Frenchman to respond to the Spaniards' offer.

The latest reports in the French press suggest that Paris Saint-Germain have drawn up a plan to secure the renewal of Kylian Mbappé's contract, which expires at the end of the season. But the Spanish, as in previous markets, are talking about the forward leaving for Real Madrid.

The Spanish newspaper AS guarantees this Wednesday that the Frenchman's move to the Spanish capital will be a reality in 2024. At least that's what the Whites hope, to the extent that they have already set a deadline for signing Mbappé.

According to the same source, Real Madrid don't want to prolong this soap opera throughout 2024, as happened in 2022 and which ended with Mbappé's renewal with PSG, and will try to take advantage of the fact that the player's contract expires at the end of the season to seal the deal straight away.

Mbappé is free to sign with any other club from January 1 next year. To that end, Real Madrid have set the 15th of the same month as the deadline for reaching an agreement with the French international, who would move to the Spanish capital free of charge in the summer of next year.

Unlike in 2017 and 2022, Real Madrid don't just want Mbappé's word for it. The Merengues want to sign a document binding the player to the club straight away, in order to avoid another 'denial'. Should the forward refuse to move to Spain, the Merengues will bet on the arrival of Erling Haaland.
