Qatar Airways launches flight packages to see 2022 World Cup up close

Qatar Airways lança pacotes de voo para ver Mundial 2022 de perto

The Football World Cup (World Cup) has been held since 1928, and for the first time, the competition will be held in winter sunshine, from November 21 to December 18, 2022, in Qatar.

With the world's biggest soccer event in mind, Qatar Airways Holidays has announced exclusive travel packages for fans of the 32 countries that will participate in the championship. The options include tickets to the national team matches, flights, accommodation alternatives, and some additional services to explore the host country.

At the time of booking, which can be done online, it can be specified how many guests are traveling and the number of rooms they would like to stay in.

The packages have prices that vary according to the number of nights, the travel dates, and the number of games you wish to attend. Furthermore, any package includes a double room in a standard (or premium) hotel, the category two ticket for the game, and the flight. For those who wish to discover Qatar, other services can be added.

On the other hand, more specifically for the games, you have to consider the following: each fan can only book a total of seven games by combining several packages - there are packages with two, three and four games included, which can be of your favorite national team, additional ones, the semifinals, the play off for third place or, of course, the final game. It all varies depending on how much you are willing to pay.

Interested fans will need to join the Qatar Airways Privilege Club. Only then can they have access to flight tickets, booking flexibility and reserved seats for their favorite games.

Then, on the Qatar Airways online site, you must choose the team you wish to follow, whose participation will be decided in the qualifying stages of the tournament. If that team does not qualify for the next stages of the World Cup, the total amount will be refunded, although fans will still be able to choose to follow a different team.
