President of the Republic exonerates and appoints ambassadors

The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, using the powers conferred on him by the Constitution of the Republic, exonerated, through Presidential Orders, three separate diplomats.

These are César Francisco de Gouveia Júnior, of the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mozambique to the Italian Republic; Paulino José Macaringue, of the position of Mozambique's High Commissioner to the Republic of South Africa.

According to a statement from the Presidency of the Republic, the Head of State also relieved Maria Manuela dos Santos Lucas of the post of extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Mozambique to the Kingdom of Spain.

In other Presidential Orders, the Head of State appointed Santos Álvaro to the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mozambique to the Italian Republic, and Maria Manuela dos Santos Lucas, to the position of Mozambique's High Commissioner to the Republic of South Africa.
