The President of the Republic, Daniel Chapo, began a two-day working visit to the Republic of Zimbabwe yesterday, at the invitation of his counterpart, President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
During his visit, the Mozambican head of state will take part in the 65th edition of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF 2025), which will take place from April 21 to 26 in the city of BulawayoVis
Under the slogan "Industrialization: Creating an Integrated Economic Scenario", this edition - also known as the Blue Sapphire Edition - stands out as one of the biggest trade showcases on the African continent, reinforcing Zimbabwe's ambition to consolidate its industrial base and promote sustainable economic growth.
During the official opening of the event, the Mozambican Head of State is scheduled to visit the fair, with a special visit to the Mozambique Pavilion, where the country is represented by the Caminhos de Ferro de Moçambique (CFM) stand.
The highlight of the Mozambican participation will be the official speech by President Daniel Chapo, as Guest of Honor at this edition of ZITF.
Mozambique's presence at this event reaffirms the country's commitment to boosting its economic fabric, attracting investment and deepening strategic partnerships within the framework of regional and continental cooperation.
