The anthropologist, photographer and researcher Patrick Arley takes today the photo exhibition entitled Mozambique - Brazil: A Counter-Colonial Bridge", at the Viaduto das Artes, in the Barreiro Region (Brazil), whose opening took place last Saturday (20).

The images were produced by the artist during field research in northern Mozambique, and in reinado, umbanda, and quimbanda terreiros in Minas Gerais (Brazil).

During the eventA catalog of the exhibition, which also includes essays by researcher and professor Pedro Kalil, and anthropologist Daniel de Jesus Figueiredo, who is dedicated to African studies in the fields of visual anthropology, art and aesthetics, politics, and power relations, will be distributed free of charge.
