Nampula: Construção da nova fábrica vai custar 192 milhões de dólares

The province of Nampula, city of Nacala-Porto, will soon have a new factory of Dugongo Cement. The construction of the factory is estimated to cost about 192 million dollars, according to the coordinator of the Dugongo project in Nacala, Issufo Ali.

For the viability of the project, representatives of the Dugongo factory met yesterday (28) with government authorities in Nampula province for the final aspects of consultation

According to the project manager, the enterprise will have the capacity to produce about six thousand tons a day and is estimated to generate employment for more than 600 people.

Meanwhile, the Secretary of State of Nampula, Jaime Neto said quoted by Radio Mozambique that he will provide all kinds of support so that the construction of the dugongo factory in Nacala becomes a reality in the short term.

Note that until now the Dugongo factory operates in the Maputo province with a production capacity of about 2500 tons per day.
