Moza Banco donates covid-19 fighting material to the Municipality of Beira

Moza Banco doa material de combate à covid-19 ao Município da Beira

Moza Banco delivered to the president of the Municipal Council of Beira City, Albano Carige, 2 metallic modules where once functioned the bank's branches in the Goto and Munhava Markets, 2 water tanks with capacity of 500L each, as well as hygienization kits in the scope of the fight against COVID-19.

With this initiative, the bank intends to contribute to the development of the country's second largest city, since the modules will be used to collect taxes and fees, according to Albano Carige. The hygienic material consisting of goggles, visors, spray pumps, surgical gloves, alcohol gel, thermometers, sprayers, waterproof suits, gloves, masks, among others, will ensure that the citizens have more means of prevention and protection against covid-19.

In the occasion, the representative of the executive commission of Moza Banco, Alfredo Paúa, stressed that, "it is the expectation of Moza Banco with this initiative, to provide means that serve the interests of our partners, and in the specific case of the Municipality of Beira, contribute to the increase of the capacity of revenue generation, through the installation of collection points inside these markets, allowing the citizens to channel their contributions with greater comfort and convenience".

In his intervention, Albano Carige, said that "Moza Banco showed once again that it is not only an institution where we keep and withdraw our money. It is an institution that also cares about the health of the citizens of Beira City. We are very pleased to receive the hygiene kits for the prevention and combat of covid-19, as well as the modules that will continue to serve our population. We thank you for this. I want to ask the residents, and my colleagues, to conserve the goods received very well.

Besides the Municipality of Beira, this donation also covers the markets of Xiquelene, in the Municipality of Maputo, T3 and Socimol, in the Municipality of Matola, Boane, in the municipality with the same name.
