Mozambique and Portugal sign an agreement to protect the rights of Mozambican workers in the country and to promote them professionally in the Portuguese market.

The protocol signed also entails strengthening and cooperation between the two countries in matters of labor and employment.

The National Director of Migration Work, Alice Brito, said at the signing that the agreement also aims to facilitate labor mobility between Mozambique and Portugal.

For Portugal's ambassador to Mozambique, Jorge Monteiro, the agreement will serve to consolidate the framework for economic development between the two countries. (RM)
