The Mozambican government intends to attract more investment from the Japanese government in order to expand the sustainable exploitation of natural resources in the country.
The two countries held a meeting today, aimed at strengthening cooperation and business opportunities.
According to the Minister of Industry and Trade, who was speaking on Tuesday in Maputo at the Mozambique-Japan Investment Seminar, the establishment of industrial parks and sustainable development of agriculture are also areas of common interest.
For the Japanese Minister of State and Foreign Affairs, Kenji Yamada, ?Mozambique is a country where the Japanese government intends to bring more sustainability to its potentials, therefore, the Japanese government will continue to reinforce the investment framework to leverage the Mozambican economy?
The Mozambique and Japan Investment Seminar is an event organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, through the Investment and Export Promotion Agency, in coordination with the Mozambique Chamber of Commerce and the Embassy of Japan.
