The main goalkeeper of the National Roller Hockey Team, Carlos Silva, won the championship title in Switzerland in the service of RCH Diessbach NLA, a club he has represented since 2015.

In the fifth game of the final play-off best-of-five, Diessbach beat Geneve, 3-1. The game was well played between two teams that were the most solid during the season, with Geneve winning the regular round and Diessbach finishing second.

This was the third championship title for the club from canton Bern, central Switzerland.

The Mozambican international Carlos Silva, who was at the last World Cup in Barcelona, expressed his satisfaction on social networks.

"Thank you my sport for giving me moments like this thank you my family, my club, my colleagues and everyone who follows RHC Diessbach. It was a long wait, but it was worth all the work and sacrifice these past three years," he commented.

The experienced 39-year-old goalkeeper ends his speech by stressing that "RHC Diessbach, Swiss champion 2022 for the third time in its short history".

Refire that this year, Diessbach was in the European League, becoming the first Swiss team to win a game.
