The Health Minister says he is open to dialogue with the Association of United Health Professionals in Solidarity in Mozambique (APSUSM) to find solutions to the concerns, which forced a national strike, whose first day, yesterday, was marked by the absence of some employees in the health units.
It is recalled that health professionals announced, a few days ago, the paralysis of their activities for 25 days, starting June 1, as a way to pressure the government to improve the salary, working conditions and food for inpatients. This comes after several failed attempts at negotiations.
According to VOA, the Ministry of Health (MISAU) refused to dialogue with the association, under the argument that it was not recognized.
However, Armindo Tiago said that the government is available for dialogue with the class, as it is the best way.
?we are in a position to talk and solve the problems that our colleagues have, those that have solutions; there are issues in life that have no solutions, but these solutions we must make together with all health professionals? said Tiago.
