Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique (LAM) is already beginning to show signs of a resurrection. The company made 690 thousand dollars (around 44.5 million meticais) in a single day, just from collecting tickets, according to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Caminhos de Ferro de Moçambique (CFM).

"Little by little - maybe we should say every day - LAM's revenues are rising. Two days ago we broke a record. Since this new management began, we have invoiced 690 thousand dollars in passengers flown in a single day," said Agostinho Langa Jr. MBC.

Certain that the company's current management will put LAM where it wants to be, the CFM's PCA says that the false information about LAM is spread by the personal interest groups that are being fought.

"This information comes from people who feel squeezed at the moment by the measures we are gradually taking within LAM. There were people who benefited their own pockets and today they feel a bit squeezed by the taps that are being turned off. These are the people who then create these fake news exactly to hinder us in the work we are doing. Mozambicans must trust and believe in us, in the work we are doing," he said.
