The Israeli government has ordered the closure of all its embassies around the world until further notice, following the escalation of the conflict with Iran.
"Israeli missions around the world will be closed and consular services will not be provided," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement, quoted by the local press.
After Israel launched a military operation against Iran's nuclear program, the government urged citizens outside the country to avoid displaying Jewish and Israeli symbols.
No deadline was given for the closure of the embassies or the resumption of activities.
