This Sunday, Frelimo's presidential candidate, Daniel Chapo, went to Inhambane, the province where he himself governed, promising to make tourism a factor for development.
At the rally held in the city of Vilanculos, Daniel Chapo said that the province of Inhambane (which he governed for eight years) has all the conditions to become a tourist capital, a national and international reference.
To this end, if he is elected President of the Republic in the October 9 elections, he will invest in infrastructure, the expansion of electricity, the piping of drinking water and the development of tourist areas.
According to Daniel Chapo, investment in tourism in Inhambane Province is justified because it is one of the sectors with strong potential to generate employment for citizens from all walks of life, especially for young people and women vendors.
Daniel Chapo also said that investment in tourism favors the creation of a positive dynamic for various sectors, such as agriculture, roads, education and health.
Considering the tourist potential, Daniel Chapo promised to invest in Vilanculos as an essential area for the development of the whole province of Inhambane. (Source: O País)
