A major fire broke out in the early hours of yesterday morning, Saturday (11), at the Loirinha Restaurant, on Rua da Resistência, in the Malhangalene district of Maputo city.

The true causes of the incident are not yet known, but it is presumed that a short circuit was the cause of the extensive damage.

However, a note from the National Public Salvation Service (SENSAP), which went to the scene to extinguish the flames, states that there was no human damage to complain about, but the material damage is considerable.
