The Prime Minister, Maria Benvinda Levi, launched Mozambique's commercial transactions today in the city of Beira, Sofala, as part of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
The ceremony symbolizes the effective implementation of the AfCFTA agreement in Mozambique, which involves operationalizing intra-African exports of goods and engaging the private sector and other players in the foreign trade ecosystem.
The event will be attended by members of the government, the General Secretariat of the AfCFTA, the Provincial Executive Council, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in the country and other cooperation partners.
