The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) has just acquired twenty new buses for the urban public transport of passengers, informed the vice-minister of Transport and Communications, Amilton Alissone, quoted by Notícias online.
According to the vice-minister, who was speaking at the end of his working visit to the bus maintenance workshop in Tchumene, a total of seven are already in Maputo and the remaining 13 will arrive in April.
The source also said that the buses are diesel-powered and cost about 93.3 million meticais disbursed by the Transport and Communications Fund (FTC).
