The governor of Nampula province, Eduardo Abdula, asked for support in strengthening moral values and promoting trust between the government and the population.
He was speaking at a meeting with Catholic Church leaders in the Eráti district during a ceremony to present the new administrator.
Quoted by "Notícias", he said that this religious institution plays an essential role in rebuilding trust between the Executive and the population, at a time when strengthening social cohesion is considered crucial for the sustainable development of the province.
For the governor, the church's support is strategic, since by promoting values such as ethics, solidarity and social responsibility, it directly contributes to a more cohesive society aligned with the objectives of the common good.
