The Mozambican presenter, businessman and PCA of TV Sucesso, Gabriel Júnior, was honored this Monday (25) with the Martin Luther King Jr. award, during the Jethro International Gala, held at the Glória Hotel, in the city of Maputo.

The award, considered to be Jethro International's highest distinction, recognizes the social work carried out by the Mozambican communicator, known as Son of the People, on behalf of citizens who need support the most.

According to a Success TVGabriel Júnior's performance has been marked above all by the program Moçambique em Concerto (Mozambique in Concert) and Porta de Esperança (Door of Hope), which have become a platform for solidarity and the realization of dreams with the contribution of the Mozambican people and various partners.

Upon receiving the award, Gabriel Júnior praised the recognition, saying that "the Martin Luther King trophy is another opportunity to continue the work I've been doing". "May God always enlighten us."
