Despite not achieving his goals in his first year in Saudi soccer, Cristiano Ronaldo was satisfied with his first season in the Al Nassr shirt. Speaking about the future, the experienced Portuguese forward confirmed that he will continue to play for the Riyadh outfit.

"I think the league is very good, but we still have a lot of opportunities to grow. I think the league is good, competitive. We have a lot of good teams, a lot of good Arab players. I want to continue and I'm going to continue here," said the international during an interview this Thursday.

Cristiano Ronaldo has come to the end of his first season at Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia. Runner-up at the age of 38, the Portuguese had his second consecutive season without a trophy, an unprecedented feat in his career. Despite this, he praised the Saudi league.

"In my opinion, if they continue with the work they want to do here, in the next five years I think the Saudi League could be in the top five in the world," said CR7.

The star arrived at Al-Nassr in January and played 19 games, scoring 14 goals and providing two assists.
