É oficial: Lionel Messi vai deixar o PSG. O último jogo pelo clube será no sábado

It's official: Lionel Messi is leaving Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) at the end of the season. Cristophe Galtier, the French club's coach, has announced that the Argentine star's last match will be on Saturday against Clermont at the Parc des Princes in Paris.

After much speculation about Messi's future in recent weeks, the coach dispelled the doubts on Thursday.

"I've had the privilege of coaching the best player in history, it will be his last game at the Parc des Princes and I hope he'll be received by the fans in the best possible way," he said at the press conference.

The 35-year-old was heavily criticized by the fans, especially after the trip to Saudi Arabia at the beginning of May.

"He was very important this season. With a World Cup in between, he scored 21 goals and made 20 assists. There's been a lot of unfair criticism, but he's always been available in matches and in training," he added.

Messi's future is wide open: he has invitations from Al Hilal (Saudi Arabia), Inter Miami (United States) and Barcelona, the club he represented until 2020/21. (JN)
