Daniel Chapo confirma lançamento do diálogo nacional para 10 de Setembro

The President of the Republic, Daniel Chapo, has confirmed the start of the implementation phase of the inclusive national dialogue, an instrument that aims to contribute to greater political stability and accelerate Mozambique's economic development, for September 10..

Speaking during a rally this Saturday (30) in the Mali neighborhood, KaTembe municipal district, Maputo city, Chapo invited all segments of society, including the general population, to participate in the political dialogue process, whose law was unanimously approved last April by the Assembly of the Republic (AR).

"All of us, as Mozambicans, without exception: political parties with parliamentary seats, without seats, extra-parliamentarians, academics, civil society, workers, peasants, youth, women, our friends in the media, are invited to, from September 10, which we will officially launch the inclusive national dialogue, participate in ideas, contribute so that one day we have elections in Mozambique, and when they are over, the one who lost picks up the phone, calls the one who won, wishes them many congratulations, goes home, and waits for other elections," said Chapo.

On that occasion, the Mozambican statesman, quoted by AIMHe called for the massive participation of Mozambicans in inclusive political dialogue, so that they can point out what is wrong without fear, in order to reach consensus.

"If there's a need to change a law, we'll change it, if there's even a need to change the Constitution, we'll revise it so that we have consensus laws," he said.

The primary objective of the inclusive national dialogue is to make Mozambique a peaceful, safe and free country.
