Dani Alves condenado a uma pena de quatro anos e meio de prisão

The Providential Court of Barcelona sentenced Brazilian international Dani Alves to four and a half years in prison. He will also be subject to a further five years' probation and will be unable to have any contact with the victim for nine years and six months. The victim was also awarded 150,000 euros in compensation.

Dani Alves is accused of sexually assaulting a 23-year-old woman 14 months ago.

According to the website "Adeptos da Bancada", the Public Prosecutor's Office wanted to see Dani Alves sentenced to nine years, while the prosecution demanded 12 years.

Remember that the case took place in December 2022, when the former player was accused of raping a woman in a nightclub. Throughout the trial, Dani Alves changed his version several times, hoping to prove that the act was consensual. However, witnesses and even video surveillance images ended up framing him.
