The President of the Republic, Daniel Chapo, has dismissed and appointed rectors and vice-rectors of five public universities in Mozambique.
In separate presidential orders, Chapo dismissed Leda Hugo as Rector of Lúrio University and appointed Eusébio Macete to the post.
At Zambezi University, he dismissed Bettencourt Capece as Rector and appointed Luís Cristóvão.
Still at the same educational institution, Chapo removed Anabela da Silva from the post of vice-rector and appointed Alexandre Baia.
At the Joaquim Chissano University, the Head of State dismissed Ana Nhampule from the post of Vice-Rector and appointed Carlos Shenga.
The President of the Republic has dismissed Joel Tembe as vice-chancellor of Eduardo Mondlane University and appointed Mahsin Sidat to the same post.
The appointees will be sworn in tomorrow, Wednesday.
