CASP: CTA quer apresentar ao Governo uma proposta de medidas de estímulo a industrialização

At the 18th Annual Private Sector Conference (CASP) to be held from 21 to 23 June this year, the CTA intends to present the government with a concrete proposal to induce the country's industrialization, attract investment and establish partnerships.

The announcement was made on Tuesday by the president of the CTA, Agostinho Vuma, during his speech at the reception for the CASP organization.

Taking place under the slogan "Transformation, Innovation and Sustainability for Industrial Competitiveness", Agostinho Vuma said that CASP represents the highest moment in public-private dialog and the biggest platform for discussing business in Mozambique.

"We are going to the XVIII CASP very encouraged and we hope to leave there with clear commitments on the steps to be taken for the effective implementation of PRONAI, a programme which, if fully implemented, will make it possible to accelerate the industrialization of our economy and generate a chain of opportunities for national Micro-Small and Medium Enterprises," Vuma stressed.

With this in mind, the CTA will take concrete proposals for the private sector's investment portfolio to the CASP and hopes to hear from the government, concrete measures of what it offers to do so that together they can move forward with the aim of making this program a real engine of development.
