Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has ordered increased security measures at the homes of Lionel Messi and Neymar, after both players were among the main targets of a demonstration at the entrance to the Parc des Princes on Wednesday.

According to Agence France-Presse, the management led by Nasser Al-Khelaifi has also opted to take extra care at the club's training center in the Poissy region.

The move follows the 'chaos' within the defending champions, which culminated in the Argentinian international being suspended for two weeks for an unauthorized trip to Saudi Arabia.

The situation became even more complicated when Christophe Galtier's side lost half of their last eight games, costing them elimination from the Champions League and weakening their isolated lead at the top of Ligue 1.
