The spokesman for the National Electoral Commission (CNE)Paulo Cuinica said today that 36 political groupings have already raised the first part for the purposes of the election campaign.
The spokesman said at the time that only two political groupings had not raised the first part of the amount to cover the costs of the election campaign.
The information was shared today by the National Electoral Commission, which says that the campaign is running smoothly, despite the incidents.
"The National Electoral Commission has no control over the availability of funds. As soon as we had it, the CNE tried to distribute it.
So far, 36 political formations have raised the first trance, the four presidential contenders have done so, and only two political formations are still to go," said Cuinica, who was speaking during a review of the first 15 days of the campaign.
According to the spokesman, there are political groupings that are already presenting justifications for the use of the money received.
In the same report, the CNE expressed concern about the use of minors and the involvement of drunk people during the campaigns.
