On Monday, Brazilian authorities arrested a Mozambican national in possession of a suitcase containing 127 packages of sweets containing cocaine.

According to the news portal Aeroin Net, the incident happened when she was arrested at Guarulhos Airport in Brazil.

According to this portal, this is yet another incident recorded last Monday, May 29, at São Paulo International Airport in Guarulhos, where a foreign passenger was arrested for drug trafficking.

"Late on Monday night, federal police officers who were checking passengers identified, with the help of a sniffer dog, that there was something suspicious in the luggage of a woman from Mozambique, in Africa," announced the Brazilian Federal Police, explaining that "after opening the suitcase, 127 candy wrappers were found, but the contents were not actually candy, but cocaine, totaling three kilos."

The suspect will be brought before the Federal Court and could face charges of international drug trafficking.
